I sometimes browse the mailing list through the web interface's access to archives. These classy messages make me happy I don't participate:

@zwangseinweisung I tend to agree. is pretty terrible on older machines because of its TLS requirements that effectively means you need a quite modern SSL library, which, even ignoring older machines’ computational power, is often just not available.

For example, what’s the latest OpenSSL available for FreeMiNT machines? It’s pretty far behind already.
